Q First Post--Step One: In at least 300 words, summarize what you've noticed and/or learned about your reading process when it comes to reading fiction so far this semester. Consider the "Mysteries and Confusions" assignments you've completed. What were common issues that came up? What strategies have you used to help? Which have been successful? Which haven't? What do you feel more comfortable with now? What is still a challenge when it comes to reading fiction? First Post--Step Two: Read this list of common issues and reading strategies generated from the class's "Mysteries and Confusions" assignments. In the Issues category, find and discuss two issues you think you can help your classmates with. What do you advise? What's helped you with this? In the Strategies category, find and discuss two strategies you might consider using to help you with your own reading process when it comes to reading fiction (Note: The novel An American Marriage, which we'll read later, is fiction). This section of the post should be a minimum of 200 words. Second Post: In at least 150 words, respond to a classmate's post. Note similarities, differences, appreciation, advice, words of encouragement, whatever you think is appropriate. Please do your best to respond to a post that doesn't have a response yet (I understand this might not always be possible). Note: You must post once before you can see classmates' posts.
